It will only take about an hour to completely assemble your new fireplace. There are only about 7 pieces to assemble in most fireplaces and it is very simple. Much, much easier than the usual self-assemble furniture.
Step One: 
These are the two boxes that UPS will bring to you. The longer box contains the mantel, sides, hearth and front panel. The shorter one has the pre-assembled firebox, ceramic log, lavarock and gelfuel.
Step Two: 
Open the longer box and place the mantel, sides, hearth and front panel aside so they can identified and assembled.
Step Three: 
Place the hearth against the floor and secure the sides against the hearth. The wood is all poplar and pine so everything assembles easily.
Step Four: 
Slide in the front panel and fasten. Place and secure the fitted Mantel on top. After this step, unpack the smaller box and attach the screen to the firebox and slide the firebox into the opening.
Step Five: 
Move the fireplace against the wall and install the grate and ceramic firelog. Place your can of Gel fuel behind the log and light as per the directions. The flame will start quickly and start warming the ceramic logs and create a beautiful, controlled fire.
